3. Common Real-Time QM Errors & Solutions 🚨

Error 1: "No Inspection Lot created for Goods Receipt"
Scenario:
A Goods Receipt (MIGO) is posted, but the system fails to create an Inspection Lot for quality check.
Solution (T-Code: MM02 / QI01):
Check the Material Master QM View (MM02) to ensure the correct Inspection Type (e.g., 01 for GR) is active. Also, check the Quality Info Record (QI01) to ensure a block or release status is correctly set for the vendor/material combination.
Error 2: "System status is not set to Results Recording"
Scenario:
User cannot record inspection results because the Inspection Lot is still in 'Released' status but not yet ready for results input.
Solution (T-Code: QA02):
Check the Inspection Lot in (QA02) (Change Inspection Lot). Ensure an Inspection Plan is assigned and the lot has been completely released. If the problem persists, check the settings for the Inspection Type.
Error 3: "Stock posting not possible with current Usage Decision"
Scenario:
After recording results, the user tries to make a Usage Decision ((QA11)) but cannot post the stock (e.g., from Quality to Unrestricted).
Solution (T-Code: QS51):
Check the settings for the Selected Set (Usage Decision codes) in Customizing. In (QS51) (Maintain Selected Set), ensure that the chosen Usage Decision code (e.g., 'A' for Accept) has the correct follow-up action configured to allow the desired stock posting.
